 CNG COMPLETES EVACUATION IN GULF OF MEXICO
 PITTSBURGH, Aug. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Consolidated Natural Gas Company


(CNG), (NYSE: CNG) said today it has evacuated all offshore workers and shut down its gas- and oil-producing platforms in the Gulf of Mexico in the face of Hurricane Andrew.
 Non-essential workers were brought in Sunday, and the last remaining field employees were evacuated Monday night. Altogether, about 100 employees and contract workers were brought in.
 Pittsburgh-based CNG is the largest independent gas producer in the Gulf of Mexico.
