CNF Sends Aid to Earthquake Victims.

In response to a fundraising campaign launched by the American Red Cross, CNF Inc. has made a $10,000 donation to the organization for disaster relief in India and El Salvador.

"CNF and its companies are a part of the communities where we do business around the globe," said President and Chief Executive Officer Greg Quesnel. "We feel privileged to assist the American Red Cross with their relief efforts."

CNF has a history of sending aid when disaster strikes. In 1999, when Hurricane Floyd hit the U.S. East Coast and Hurricane Mitch devastated Central America, the company immediately sent $10,000 contributions to the American Red Cross. CNF employees in turn contributed approximately $10,000 more to Mercy Corps International for relief efforts following Hurricane Mitch. The company also sent aid via the American Red Cross in 1998 following Hurricane Georges in Puerto Rico and the tornadoes that struck St. Peter, Minnesota.

Contributions can be made to the American Red Cross International Response Fund by calling 1-800-HELP NOW or 1-800-257-7575 (Spanish). Contributions may also be sent to your local American Red Cross chapter or to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013.
