The announcement was made by Chutta Ratnathicam, chief financial officer of CNF. Lunardi had served as director of strategic planning since 1994. As vice president, he will continue to develop, refine and communicate corporate objectives and long-term strategy alternatives. He is also responsible for researching and analyzing opportunities that affect the long-term competitive position of the corporation and its business units. "With his extensive business experience and understanding of the transportation industry, Rich has played a valuable role in steering CNF to success over the past 10 years," said Ratnathicam.
