:CNF), a management company of global supply chain services, today announced the promotion of Kevin Coel, 41, to corporate controller.

In this position, Coel is responsible for company wide financial controls, accounting policies and procedures Policies and Procedures are a set of documents that describe an organization's policies for operation and the procedures necessary to fulfill the policies. They are often initiated because of some external requirement, such as environmental compliance or other governmental , and corporate public reporting requirements. In addition, he has oversight for all corporate accounting functions. Coel, a 10-year CNF veteran, previously served as assistant corporate controller.

Senior vice president and chief financial officer Chutta Ratnathicam made the announcement noting, "Kevin brings a wealth of experience and insight to this position. The knowledge and leadership skills he has demonstrated over the years will be an even greater asset to the company in his new, expanded role."

Prior to joining CNF, Coel worked for Varian Associates as an accounting manager, and at Deloitte & Touche as an audit manager.
