CNF Names Maureen Maag Vice President Internal Audit.

:CNF) announced today that it has named Maureen Maag vice president of internal audit. The announcement was made by CNF Chief Financial Officer Kevin Schick. Maag succeeds Marv Brinkerhoff, who will retire at the end of the year after 30 years of service to CNF.

Maag, 49, most recently served as director of information technology (IT) development where she was responsible for managing a wide range of portfolio applications including Oracle Financials and PeopleSoft. As director of IT, Maag drove the development of metrics metrics Managed care A popular term for standards by which the quality of a product, service, or outcome of a particular form of Pt management is evaluated. See TQM.  for IT systems measurement, led the development of a paperless environment for accounts payable invoice processing, and reduced technology development costs by $2.5 million.

"Maureen has over 25 years of experience with CNF. Her background and familiarity with both IT and accounting procedures are great assets to CNF's systems and controls," said Schick.

Maag joined CNF in 1978 and spent her first five years with the company in a variety of general accounting functions. In 1983, she transferred to the payroll department Noun 1. payroll department - the department that determines the amounts of wage or salary due to each employee

Under Maureen's leadership, this enterprise-wide initiative was completed on time and under budget. She was named Director of Information Technology (IT) in 2000.
