Tech enthusiasts visited http://ces.cnet.com to follow the extensive show coverage provided by CNET's expert editors, who scoured the CES show floor to choose from hundreds of new products and technologies announced at the show. The CNET.com "People's Voice" award, which used an online voting system promoted across CNET Networks' family of web properties, including CNET Download.com, CNET News.com, Webshots, and ZDNet, drew more than 8200 votes from consumers who wanted to see recognition for their favorite product at CES.
"The CNET editors were once again impressed with the level of creativity and innovation at CES. This year, the LG BH100 stood out for the freedom it offers consumers who have been faced with the HD DVD and Blu-ray format war," said Jai Singh, editor in chief and vice president of CNET. To qualify, all products had to be exhibited at the 2007 International CES in Las Vegas. CNET's expert editors judged products on criteria including:
