CNA Introduces Coverage for General Partnerships and REITs.

CHICAGO -- CNA Specialty announces coverage enhancements designed specifically to meet the liability insurance needs of General Partnerships and Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs). These latest innovations enhance the comprehensive coverage offered by CNA's Management Liability Solutions policy by targeting exposures faced by general partners, executives and employees of limited partnerships and REITs.

The General Partnership and Real Estate Investment Trust Endorsements includes coverage for trustees, management committee members of a limited partnership, and managers of joint ventures. Optional entity coverage is included in the Real Estate Investment Trust Endorsement and is available as an option with the General Partnership Endorsement. The endorsements provide coverage for charges and claims brought under civil, administrative or regulatory proceedings including coverage for employment practices wrongful acts. They also include outside directorship liability (ODL) coverage.

This product is the latest enhancement in the evolution of Open Brokerage's product suite. Prior efforts have included Side A coverage, Management Liability Solutions (an enhanced Directors & Officers form), EPL Solutions, Management Liability/EPL for Law Firms, and Private Insurance Company Solutions. Further announcements are scheduled to highlight Fidelity Bond, Side A Only coverage, Professional Liability for Bankers, Insurance Companies, and Miscellaneous Professions.
