CNA Announces EcoCareSM Property Upgrade Extension Endorsement.


New form allows for property repairs, replacements with "green" qualification.

CHICAGO -- CNA (Certified NetWare Administrator) See Novell certification.  is helping commercial property policyholders "go green." Through its new product offering, the EcoCare(SM) Property Upgrade Extension Endorsement, CNA customers can repair or replace damaged property using environmentally responsible and resource efficient materials and processes.

"Through our new EcoCare property endorsement, we can support customers who are already or aspiring to become environmentally friendly Environmentally friendly, also referred to as nature friendly, is a term used to refer to goods and services considered to inflict minimal harm on the environment.[1] ," said Naveen Anand, senior vice president of Commercial Insurance, CNA. "Our EcoCare property endorsement provides coverage to make a property more eco-friendly than it was before the loss O whether the loss is a partial loss or a total loss."

Materials efficiency - including use and management of sustainable and environmentally preferred construction materials and recycling programs.

Environmental quality - including usage of low emitting product or materials that reduce the quality of indoor air contaminants.

In addition, the EcoCare Property Upgrade Extension Endorsement provides six automatic coverage extensions, including Vegetative vegetative /veg·e·ta·tive/ (vej?e-ta?tiv)
1. of, pertaining to, or characteristic of plants.

2. concerned with growth and nutrition, as opposed to reproduction.
