CNA, TSE Inaugurate New International News Exposure Platform.


TAIPEI, Taiwan -- The International News and Information Exposure Platform established by the Taiwan Stock Exchange Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSEC)

Established in 1961, the only centralized securities market in Taiwan.
 Corp. (TSEC See Taiwan Stock Exchange. ) and the Central News Agency (CNA (Certified NetWare Administrator) See Novell certification. ) was formally inaugurated Tuesday for local blue-chip companies to release their corporate news and promote their products and services.

Premier Su Tseng-chang delivered a congratulatory message at the inauguration ceremony held at the Taipei 101 tower, hailing the new platform as an ideal tool for local listed and OTC OTC

 companies to connect with the world and globalize their operations.

By cooperating with U.S.-based Business Wire, Su said, the new platform enjoys the "unique advantage" of online news distribution, providing local companies seeking exposure in both domestic and international markets with immediate access to media outlets at home and abroad, as well as Internet portals, so that multinational corporate executives, international equity investors and mutual fund managers can get real-time first-hand information about corporate developments.

Su encouraged local listed and OTC companies to make good use of the new platform both for their own interests and for Taiwan's overall wellbeing.

The news received extensive coverage by major media outlets around the world immediately after being distributed through the new CNA-TSE-Business Wire news platform. "This proves the strength of this new platform," he said.
