The award recognizes CN for meeting the Safety Agreement criteria, and for continuous improvements in handling and transporting Dow Chemical's tank cars, hopper cars and products. The criteria target reduced railroad-caused incidents, such as derailments. "Safety plays a crucial role at Dow Chemical," says Bill Huff, director - global rail operations, Dow Chemical.
