: CNI)(TSX: CNR) today welcomed news that owner/operator truck drivers represented by the Canadian Auto Workers The Canadian Auto Workers (CAW; formally the National Automobile, Aerospace, Transportation and General Workers Union of Canada) is one of Canada's largest and highest profile trade unions.  (CAW) have ratified a new collective agreement with CNTL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of CN. The agreement is retroactive to January 1, 2004.

There are approximately 380 owner/operators covered under the agreement. The owner/operators provide local trucking services for CN's major intermodal terminals in Canada.
