: CNI)(TSX: CNR) today welcomed news that members of the Canadian Auto Workers The Canadian Auto Workers (CAW; formally the National Automobile, Aerospace, Transportation and General Workers Union of Canada) is one of Canada's largest and highest profile trade unions.  (CAW) union have ratified new collective agreements with the company and will end their strike. The three-year agreements are retroactive to Jan. 1, 2004.

CAW-represented shopcraft, clerical and intermodal employees are scheduled to return to work on the first daylight shift tomorrow, Saturday, March 20.
