) (TSX:CNR) said today it's pleased that the bargaining committee of the Canadian Auto Workers The Canadian Auto Workers (CAW; formally the National Automobile, Aerospace, Transportation and General Workers Union of Canada) is one of Canada's largest and highest profile trade unions.  (CAW) will meet in Toronto tomorrow to review the company's enhanced offer.

CN on March 10 offered the CAW three choices to resolve the current labour dispute: a good faith cooling-off period; binding arbitration; and the CAW agreeing to submit an enhanced CN offer to a ratification vote.

In response, the CAW turned town the first two options and invited CN to table an enhanced offer. Last night CN made that offer.

CN hopes that the union will accept the enhanced offer and submit it to a ratification vote as soon as possible. This is the best way to end this unfortunate strike.
