This latest in a long line of CN information technology developments puts shipment status updates at the fingertips of the ever-expanding list of customers who use the Internet. "CN's new Internet Shipment Tracking hook-up is yet another example of our information-technology leadership, both within and outside the rail industry," says Paul M. The sophisticated SRS information system manages individual shipment movements to meet customer goals and specific delivery plans, and monitors shipments to ensure that commitments are met.
