CN's signals and communications employees in Canada ratify four-year collective agreement.MONTREAL -- CN announced today that members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) is a labor union which represents workers in the electrical industry in the United States and Canada, particularly electricians, or Inside Wiremen, in the construction industry and linemen and other employees of public (IBEW) have ratified a four-year collective agreement with the company. The IBEW represents 644 union members who maintain and repair CN's signals and communications systems across Canada. The new contract, retroactive to Jan. 1, 2004, provides improvements in IBEW members' salaries and benefits.
