Customers did not accept all CN-offered cars for Thunder Bay shipments. Consequently, 481 CN cars were unloaded during the crop week versus a target of 860. Almost 200 CN cars were on hand at Thunder Bay waiting to be unloaded at the start of crop week 44.

CN placed 2,304 cars at country elevators for loading during crop week 43, 103 fewer than planned because the orders were cancelled by customers owing to a lack of grain in the elevators to which they were to be delivered. This week, CN plans to place 2,339 across Western Canada.
