. As part of the agreement, CMS will become a global, preferred provider of treatment planning software to Siemens. Treatment planning software is commonly sold together with cancer treatment delivery equipment, such as Siemens ONCOR(TM) Linear Accelerators, in facilities around the world. In addition, CMS will enhance the functionality of XiO(R) Treatment Planning System to provide seamless integration with the Siemens COHERENCE(TM) Oncology Workspaces. The agreement is initially for three years with the option of renewing annually thereafter.
