The new ABSplus 5.0 incorporates several notable improvements to its backup software, including additional restore functionality and advanced security with a starting price of $299.

The ABSplus 5.0 incorporates a One Button Restore(TM) module to further enhance its disaster recovery and backup capabilities. This new component of the CMS backup software simplifies the data recovery process by allowing users to recover data as a result of hard drive failure or accidental deletion by simply clicking on the restore button.

Once activated, the backup device will perform a complete restoration of only selected data from the most recent backup of the computer's hard drive. The One Button Restore feature reduces potential downtime and increases return on investment through the decrease in Help Desk or IT department involvement.

Another sophisticated feature of the restore application is the redirect restore function. This feature provides maximum flexibility to users that prefer to restore their data to other locations such as a shared resource on the network. By selecting this feature, users may pick and choose the location where folders, files and applications can be restored.

In addition to the new advanced software features, the ABSplus still incorporates the patent pending Automatic Launcher to monitor and launch backups upon connection and eliminates the hassle associated with manual backup. All backed up data stored on the ABSplus is saved in native file format to provide fast, easy data recovery and access.
