CMS Products Honored for Public Sector Technology Innovations with 2009 GCN Best of FOSE Awards.

One of 14 Companies Recognized for Product Innovation in Government IT

COSTA MESA, Calif. -- FOSE 2009, the most comprehensive event for government information technology (IT) professionals, today announced that CMS Products was named one of just 14 companies to win the Government Computer News (GCN) Best of FOSE Awards for 2009. The awards recognize outstanding and innovative information technology (IT) products for government exhibited at the show.

CMS Products was singled out by the editors of GCN for its innovative new product, BounceBack Ultimate. The product enables computer users to instantly recover from a hard drive failure by restarting their Windows-based computer via the USB connection to an external hard disk.

More than 65 companies submitted a total of 115 new products for consideration during this year's competition. Altogether 14 companies were recognized across a broad range of categories.

The GCN Best of FOSE Awards were open to the more than 300 companies exhibiting at the FOSE 2009 exhibition in Washington, D.C. March 10-12. GCN's editors and technology analysts reviewed the new products during FOSE show hours and chose the winners based on four criteria: innovation; usability/applicability to government; relative performance based on specifications; and value.
