 DEARBORN, Mich., April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- The shareholders of the


CMS Energy Corporation (NYSE: CMS) re-elected 14 members of the company's Board of Directors at today's annual meeting.
 Re-elected to the board were:
 -- William T. McCormick Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of CMS Energy and chairman of the Consumers Power Company, the principal CMS Energy subsidiary. Chairman since 1985.
 -- S. Kinnie Smith Jr., vice chairman of CMS Energy and Consumers Power. A director since 1987.
 -- Victor J. Fryling, president of CMS Energy and vice chairman of Consumers Power. A director since 1990.
 -- Frederick W. Buckman, president and chief executive officer of Consumers Power. A director since 1990.
 -- John Deutch, professor, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A director since 1986.
 -- Richard M. Gillett, retired chairman of Old Kent Financial Corporation, Grand Rapids. A director since 1967.
 -- Earl D. Holton, president and chief operating officer of Meijer, Inc., of Grand Rapids. A director since 1989.
 -- Lois A. Lund, professor, College of Human Ecology, Michigan State University. A director since 1983.
 -- Don T. McKone, retired chairman of TRINOVA Corporation, Maumee, Ohio. A board member since 1974.
 -- Frank H. Merlotti, chairman of the Executive Committee, Steelcase, Inc., Grand Rapids. A board member since 1987.
 -- William U. Parfet, president, Upjohn Company, Kalamazoo. A director since 1991.
 -- Percy A. Pierre, vice president for Research and Graduate Studies and professor of electrical engineering, Michigan State University. A director since 1990.
 -- Thomas F. Russell, chairman of the Finance Committee, Federal- Mogul Corporation, Detroit. A board member since 1986.
 -- Robert D. Tuttle, retired chairman of SPX Corporation, Muskegon. A director since 1986.
 The remaining board member, Robert E. Dewar, retired. Dewar was a CMS Energy board member since 1980 and is the retired chairman and chief executive officer of Kmart Corporation, Troy. The CMS Board will remain at 14 members.
