SANTA ROSA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 13, 1995--CMR Publishing, Inc. is unveiling UpdatePro, a schedule variance checker, at the annual Project Management Institute Seminar/Symposium October 15-18 at the Marriott Exhibit hall in New Orleans.

UpdatePro checks for all points of variance between two schedule files. It also generates a comprehensive report by the type of variance. It is designed for all managers who need to review progress, leave an audit trail, or document changes in unforgiving project management programs. User can now track down hidden changes or avoid unintended changes at the push of a button.

UpdatePro retails for $149. This fall, an introductory offer will be announced and made available at the Project Management Institute (PMI) Seminar/Symposium, bundling UpdatePro free with every copy of CMR's DailyLog(R) software. DailyLog is a schedule-driven progress monitoring program for more detailed schedule tracking than most any other project management software programs allow. DailyLog will be bundled with UpdatePro for a limited time only.

UpdatePro is compatible with Primavera Project Planner(R) and SureTrak(R), both published by Primavera Systems, Inc. It currently runs on DOS but imports data from Windows and DOS project management programs.
