 will become the product section of the new title. The new web site will deliver both global and local information. It will feature global "EE Times" coverage in English, and regional news and analysis in a mix of local language and English. Existing, news-only local language editions covering Germany, France, the UK and Scandinavia will be consolidated into the new site.

In related news, CMP will launch "Dr. Dobb's Journal/ Russian Edition" with an issue in January 2007. It will be distributed to 5000 software development professionals working in Russia and will feature news and information on cross-platform software development processes, technologies, tools and management techniques. "Dr. Dobb's Journal Dr. Dobb's Journal (DDJ) is a monthly journal published in the United States by CMP Media. It covers topics aimed at computer programmers. DDJ was the first regular periodical focused on microcomputer software, rather than hardware. " publisher Stan Barnes Stan Barnes (born May 1, 1900) was an American football player. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1954.  said the launch "continues to strengthen our position as the global leader in providing a comprehensive suite of products and services to reach software development professionals throughout the world."
