CMP Media Names Wendy Byrne Managing Director of International Business Development.


MANHASSET, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 8, 1998--CMP Media Inc. (Nasdaq:CMPX CMPX Complex ) has promoted Wendy Byrne to managing director of international business development.

In this London-based position, Byrne will direct the company's international merger and acquisition effort and will develop key business initiatives to enhance the company's global solutions orientation for its clients.
