CMP Media's Game Group (San Francisco, CA), producer of the Game Developers Conference, has partnered with VNU Media's "The Hollywood Reporter" (Los Angeles, CA) to co-produce the inaugural Hollywood and Games Summit, a conference for video game publishers and Hollywood Studios to be held June 17, 2006 in Hollywood (CA). CMP said the summit will allow executives from both industries to interact and discuss best practices for strategically marketing original IP via both media. The conference will also feature discussions on such topics as content development, rights management, production, art, music and design.
