Picking up where last year's popular "Pathways to the 21st Century" series left off, IT Horizons will provide an insightful look at the future of the behavioral healthcare industry, and how advances in information technology will improve working conditions and client treatment. John Quinn, a Principal with the Center for Healthcare Emerging Technologies of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young's Healthcare Consulting Practice, has over 23 years experience in the healthcare industry and 27 years experience in the computer industry. Mr. Quinn has a strong background in the areas of healthcare information systems planning, healthcare interface standards, computer networks, computer architecture, operating systems, and communications software and will be addressing these with special emphasis on HIPAA regulations. Henry Yennie, MSW, BCSW, has extensive experience developing successful managed care integrated delivery network and information systems. A Senior Consultant with WES Group, Inc., Mr. Yennie was Vice President of managed care services for the behavioral health division of a large southern healthcare system and he has managed a multi-program, community-based children's behavioral health care organization.

CMHC Systems will demonstrate the progress and new functionality offered through its core product, the CMHC/MIS, and IT Horizons will provide a clear illustration of the company's proactive response to the rapid changes in the industry as well as strategic positioning to address emerging healthcare and IT trends.
