. The annual event is the largest of its kind in Boston, and last year raised more than half a million dollars for Big Brothers of Massachusetts Bay Massachusetts Bay, inlet of the Atlantic Ocean. Big Brothers of Massachusetts Bay is the largest male one-to-one(R) mentoring agency in the country, with volunteers serving more than 1,100 children. The agency pairs each child with an adult male volunteer who serves as a companion and friend. Each Big Brother meets with his Little Brother for a couple of hours every other week to talk, play sports, contribute to the community, learn new skills, and simply spend time together.
