:CMGI) today announced a binding letter of intent to purchase Internet Profiles Corporation (I/PRO), a leader in World Wide Web traffic verification, analysis, and research solutions based in Redwood City, California Redwood City is a suburb located on the San Francisco Peninsula in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. Redwood City is the county seat of San Mateo County. As of the 2005 census, the city had a total population of 76,000. . Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

I/PRO (http://www.ipro.com) will join the CMGI Internet Group as a wholly-owned subsidiary which will be merged with Engage Technologies, Inc., the leading provider of online precision marketing solutions. Engage and I/PRO together will expand Engage's position as the leading supplier of data, technology and services for Internet database and relationship marketing. I/PRO brings analysis and research services to Engage, whose solutions include online advertising management, audience analytics, visitor profiling technology, and Engage Knowledge, the world's largest source of Web-wide, anonymous user profiles for customizing content, personalizing offers, and targeting advertising.
