eCircles, Snapfish, SpotLife and iCAST, all CMGI, Inc. (Nasdaq:CMGI) and CMGI @Ventures network companies, have formed an alliance with Compaq Computers' (NYSE:CPQ) new line of Presario Internet PCs. The relationship bundles top consumer Web sites from the CMGI and CMGI @Ventures network to deliver innovative and compelling consumer content, features and functionality into Compaq's new My Presario Internet Activity Center.

Launched June 21, 2000, Compaq's My Presario Internet Activity Center represents a unique alliance between Compaq and consumer Web sites, such as SpotLife, Snapfish, eCircles and iCast, to help My Presario computer users discover the boundless creative and entertaining possibilities of the Internet. Presario owners will now be able to create dynamic interactive communities, develop and share photographs for free, broadcast personal streaming video and enjoy leading online entertainment.

Uniquely for the Internet Activity Center, eCircles (http://www.ecircles.com), a Web service that helps friends and family keep in touch, introduced Compaq eCircles, a free co-branded service that brings eCircles' functionality and features to millions of Presario users. Presario users will join millions of eCircles members who chat, network, swap photos, plan events and share documents at eCircles' site.

Snapfish:

Snapfish (http://www.snapfish.com) will offer Compaq's users quality photo services including free prints, free processing, free digitization and free online sharing for 35 mm film in the Compaq My Presario Photo Activity Center. Users will pay only $1.69 for shipping and handling of their quality prints on Kodak paper. Snapfish and the Photo Activity Center will offer complete photo services for digital camera users including printing, sharing and online storage.

SpotLife:

SpotLife (http://www.spotlife.com) delivers personal broadcasting capabilities to the Cool Activity and VideoCam Activity Centers for users of the new Presario line. Compaq now includes SpotLife enabled Internet video cameras with all Presario computers sold, empowering Presario customers to easily broadcast live or stored video over the Internet. SpotLife's free personal broadcasting service and Web site are also featured in the My Presario Internet Activity Center. With easy-to-follow instructions and guidelines, and a special link to SpotLife, the VideoCam Activity Center will have users streaming live Webcasts in no time. Users will also get to see others unleash their creativity via links to the many fascinating broadcasts on SpotLife's community page.

iCAST:

Finally, iCAST (http://www.icast.com), one of the Internet's most popular entertainment sites, will give users of Presario's Music Activity Center new ways to enjoy their favorite music on the Web. Users will be able to learn how to download music to their new Presario Internet PC's, listen to the radio on the Web, organize their music collections online, create their own CDs and use a digital audio player. Every new Presario comes with a RioPort Audio Manager, so users are equipped to play Web-based music when they set up their new Presario Internet PC.
