CMGI Solutions Enriches Web Capabilities for iSolve Incorporated and Its Strategic Partner.

Enhances Customer Service Capabilities for iSolve and Creates

Web-based Administration Tool for Intertek Testing Service

CMGI Solutions, Inc., an e-business solutions provider and majority-owned operating company of CMGI, Inc., said today that it has designed and implemented several new customer service capabilities for iSolve Incorporated. The full-service B2B marketplace for surplus inventory utilizes corporate barter and Web currencies as part of its total solution package. CMGI Solutions enhanced the company's Web site, iSolve.com, and also designed, developed and implemented a Web-based administration tool for iSolve's strategic partner, Intertek Testing Service (ITS).

CMGI Solutions developed a system for iSolve and ITS that allows the partners to provide iSolve clients with product or commodity testing and/or inspection services in accordance with buyer and seller specifications. With this program, ITS has the ability to receive orders for tests and inspections, track the progress of these orders and return results to the user through the iSolve site.

In addition to designing the program for ITS, CMGI Solutions also integrated iContact and Talisma into the iSolve site in order to provide enhanced customer service for iSolve.com users. iContact is a live, proactive customer support function that lets iSolve users correspond via chat with a live customer service representative in real time. Talisma is a customer service e-mail management tool that allows iSolve's customer care group to better manage the workflow of incoming e-mails. For example, the new system automatically catalogs requests as they are received, based on keywords in the subject header and maintains a record of inquiries and responses for each iSolve account.

These new efforts are components of a long-term relationship between iSolve and CMGI Solutions. Earlier this year, CMGI Solutions and iSolve worked closely to help build the iSolve site, which launched in March. The site is based on EJB architecture, using BEA's WebLogic application server and an Oracle database running on a Sun/Unix platform. Earlier this summer, CMGI Solutions worked with iSolve on the development of a system that allows strategic partners iSolve and Yahoo! B2B to interface seamlessly and offer buyers and sellers of surplus goods an enhanced purchasing experience.
