CMGI Reveals Name of Web Broadcast Initiative; Sanchez Discusses Growth Plans During `VcallApolooza' Conference Calls.

In separate conference calls during today's "VcallApolooza" Internet conference call event, Michael Sanchez, chairman of Sanchez and David Andonian, president of CMGI's Internet Group, outlined continued significant growth.

Andonian said that CMGI was committing at least $100 million to a new Internet broadcast initiative to be called "I-Cast." Andonian said that I-Cast will be "the premier broadcaster on the web," utilizing other assets from CMGI's stable of companies, including NaviSite, ZineZone and Magnitude Networks.

Andonian said that CMGI has hired former NBC NBC

He also indicated that his "best guess" was that significant customer announcements would begin in May. Sanchez provides comprehensive banking software for financial services organizations worldwide.

VcallApolooza is an all-day Internet conference call focusing on Internet companies, featuring over 40 companies, analysts and portfolio managers.
