CMGI Names Josita Todd as New Chief Information Officer.

WALTHAM, Mass. -- CMGI, Inc. (Nasdaq: CMGI) announced today that it has hired Josita Todd as the organization's new Chief Information Officer. Todd will provide information technology (IT) leadership direction for CMGI and its subsidiaries, including ModusLink Corporation, the leading global provider of supply chain management solutions. Todd succeeds interim-CIO, Dennis Hughes, and will report directly to Joseph C. Lawler, President and Chief Executive Officer of CMGI.

Ms. Todd brings a strong global leadership background to the company based on her extensive work experience in Europe, Latin America and Asia. In her most recent position as Vice President of IT at Thermo Electron Corporation, Ms. Todd was responsible for developing and executing global IT strategies. Before joining Thermo Electron, she was Vice President of Information Management and Technology at Abbott Laboratories' Pharmaceutical Products Division, where she was responsible for overseeing systems strategy, applications, infrastructure and services for global manufacturing, research and development, and pharmaceutical commercial organizations.

Initially, Ms. Todd will leverage her extensive enterprise resource planning (ERP) deployment experience by focusing on the implementation of ModusLink's strategic, global business solution platform. The new ERP system is designed to standardize business processes worldwide in order to provide greater performance, information sharing and decision making for the organization and its clients.
