Crosett will be responsible for all technical aspects of this first-of-its-kind offering, including design, architecture and implementation. He brings 15 years of relevant experience to this position, most recently at CompuServe Inc. where he was vice president of Development. Crosett and his team were responsible for delivering WOW!, a completely new online service for home users in eight months from funding to delivery. Lex personally conceived and managed CompuServe's strategic transition to open Internet standards and completed the first ever Normandy platform licensing deal with Microsoft. Previously, Crosett spent five years at Lotus Development Corp. in various technical and marketing management positions including general manager of Mainframe Systems Division and manager of Product Planning. He also managed two startup companies in the health care and hospital information systems business. Lex holds M.B.A. and B.A. degrees from the University of Vermont and the University of Virginia, respectively.
