CMC acquires Cherokee Supply.


Commercial Metals Co., based in Irving, Texas Irving (pronounced 'er-ving') is a city located in the U.S. state of Texas within Dallas County. Cherokee Supply was established in 1998 and has facilities in Tulsa, Okla., and Little Rock, Ark. The stores will become part of CMC (Common Messaging Calls) A programming interface specified by the XAPIA as the standard messaging API for X.400 and other messaging systems. CMC is intended to provide a common API for applications that want to become mail enabled.
