CMAs Win International Writing Awards.


Two CMA Management magazine contributors have received awards of Outstanding Merit in the 1999 Articles of Merit Competition, as part of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Article Award Program.

Bernadette Lynn's article ("Intellectual Capital: Key to Value-Added Success in the Next Millennium," February 1998, CMA Management), and Dave Desmormeaux's article ("New World Order - Redefining Future Executive Information Systems," October 1998, CMA Management) have been published in a collection of 10 award-winning articles on financial and management accounting topics entitled, Articles of Merit - 1999 Competition.

IFAC is the worldwide organization for the accountancy profession. Its mission is to develop and enhance the profession to provide services of consistently high quality in the public interest. Its membership is comprised of 143 professional accountancy bodies in 104 countries and represents more than two million accountants in public practice, education, government services, industry and commerce.
