Awards will take place Wednesday evening in Nashville marking the beginning of the 43rd Annual Country Music Awards. The show hosted by country stars Carrie Underwood Carrie Marie Underwood (born March 10, 1983) is an American pop country music singer who won the fourth season of American Idol. She has since become a multi-platinum selling recording artist. and Brad Paisley scheduled to start at 8pm ET will be streamed live on ABC. Country singer, Taylor Swift, is the contender for four awards this year: Entertainer of the year, Female vocalist of the year, Album of the year and Music Video of the year.
