CM Punjab visits Raja Pervaizs residence to felicitate him over his sons marriage.

ISLAMABAD, November 09, 2009 (Balochistan Times): The Punjab chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif visited the residence of Federal Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervaiz Ashraf to extend felicitation on the marriage of his son. During the meeting the federal minister, the Punjab Chief Minister discussed a host of issues including the prevailing law and order situation in the country and the electricity crisis. Later, talking to newsmen after the meeting Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said the Punjab chief minister had came to congratulate him over the marriage of his son and made it clear that no political issues were discussed. He said no load shedding was being observed in any part of the country as the demand of the electricity was plummeted after significant change in the weather as the winter has set-in in the country. The federal minister said an additional 600 mw has been added in the system and more electricity would also be added in the system in future which would help uninterrupted supply of electricity to domestic as well as commercial consumers. The prime minister, he said has inaugurated the Nishat Power Plant at Pattoki the other day having a capacity to generate 200 mw electricity. To a question, he said with the observing of two weekly offs would definitely help to conserve energy as well.
