CLX Investment Company Announces Plans for Marketing and Distribution of Additional Zonda Products.

TEMECULA, Calif. -- CLX Investment Company, Inc. (OTCBB:CLXN) today announced plans for the distribution of two additional products, MoniTek and MicroQuik, in portfolio investment Zonda Inc.'s product line. CLX will assist Zonda with the launch of a comprehensive marketing program intended to achieve widespread sales in the United States and worldwide markets.

MoniTek and MicroQuik are both tests targeted to applications where detecting bacterial and other potential harmful microorganisms are of critical importance, such as the food service industry.

MoniTek is a rapid test to check for surface bacterial contamination. While there are several products on the market that are intended as sanitation screens, the tests generally do not differentiate between actual bacteria and background materials. Bioluminescence tests, for example, only detect a substance that is present in all living organisms, and other tests detect only the presence of sugars. The MoniTek test detects the presence of actual bacteria on a surface.

MicroQuik is a family of tests that confirms the presence of various microorganisms from culture, saving the several days of testing required by most other detection technologies. MicroQuik are enzymatic testing systems that confirm the presence of the organisms such as Enterococcus, E.coli, Streptococcus Group A, Total Coliforms, Candida albicans, and Gram positive/Gram negative Differentiation.

Zonda Inc., a privately held company that specializes in test products that serve the medical diagnostic (IVD), food safety, and sanitation testing markets, is expanding the distribution of its product lines into broader markets around the world. The company's product line includes innovative, rapid, self-contained diagnostic device for the detection of Chlamydia, gonorrhea, yeast and Strep A. The Chlamydia test is currently being distributed in European markets and carries a CE mark for both professional point-of-care and over-the-counter use. The gonorrhea, yeast and Strep A tests carry CE marks for professional point-of-care use, and Zonda is seeking similar approvals for over-the-counter sales of these products. Each of the Zonda infectious disease tests are marketed as superior to their competition due to their comparable accuracy (compared directly to other testing methods), ease of use, compact design, long shelf life, rapid results, and cost effectiveness.
