Olden, Britt, Joseph Jauregui and Brian Malchow had two hits apiece for the Kingsmen. The rest was left to reliever Malchow, who threw two scoreless innings without allowing a hit to earn his first save of the season. In the first game of the day against Southwestern, CLU's Malchow, Donny Churchman and Richard Hernandez homered. Still, the Pirates scored four runs apiece in the sixth and eighth innings to build an 8-3 lead. |
