Jones family has traveled hundreds of miles from the Bay Area to Thousand Oaks, or wherever else the Cal Lutheran football team plays. Danny Jones Daniel Alan David Jones, commonly known as Danny Jones (born March 12, 1986 in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England) is one of the lead vocalists and guitarists in the British pop band McFly, along with fellow band members Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd.  makes the trek worthwhile.

Jones, Cal Lutheran's junior quarterback, has led the Kingsmen to victories in 19 of their past 21 games while emerging as one of the top quarterbacks in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) is a college athletic conference that operates in the NCAA's Division III. It consists of eleven small private schools which are located in Southern California and organized into eight athletic programs. .

Jones, who has completed 89 of 152 passes this season for 1,385 yards and 17 touchdowns, ranks second in the SCIAC SCIAC SIGINT Correlation Integration & Analysis Capability  in passing yards per game (230.8) and total yards per game (265.5). He'll be part of a showdown between the conference's top two quarterbacks this weekend when Cal Lutheran plays host to first-place Occidental and its star passer, Andy Collins Andy Collins may refer to:

``It's not me versus Andy Collins,'' Jones said. ``It's Cal Lutheran versus Occidental. I want to play my best to beat them, not just him. I try not to pay attention to individual statistics.''

Jones' statistics are worthy of attention. He has accounted for as many as seven touchdowns in a game this season.

Jones received national recognition for his performance Sept. 30 against La Verne, in which he threw for 295 yards and five touchdowns and rushed for two more scores in only three quarters in a 55-12 win.

Last weekend, Jones passed for 302 yards and fourtouchdowns in a 34-14 victory over Chapman.

The 6-foot-2, 205-pound Jones has passed for 5,472 yards and 48 touchdowns and run for 11 touchdowns during his career with the Kingsmen.

But his favorite memory doesn't involve a touchdown. During his freshman year against Redlands, he led CLU (language) CLU - (CLUster) An object-oriented programming language developed at MIT by Liskov et al in 1974-1975.

on a lengthy drive that set up the winning field goal as time expired, boosting Jones' confidence in the team and himself.

``This is every bit of what I expected and what I wanted when I came here to play college football,'' said Jones, who was passed over by Division I colleges out of Amador Valley High in Pleasanton. ``All I'm focused on now, though, is this weekend and Occidental.''
