Upgrade builds on integrated asset management

Intergraph Hong Kong Limited, a subsidiary of US-based Intergraph Corporation (Nasdaq: INGR) today announced that CLP Power Hong Kong Limited is upgrading its successful FRAMME-based AM/FM/GIS to G/Electric, Intergraph's next-generation technology for electric geofacilities management. CLP Power currently serves over two million customers, or about 80 percent of Hong Kong's population via a solely owned transmission/distribution network that covers more than 10,800 km.

G/Electric's state-of-the-art architecture and functionality will enable CLP Power to share asset information across its facility network and integrate with the company's Enterprise Work Management System (EWMS SAP-PM). The G/Electric and EWMS integration will provide a seamless workflow among applications that plan, construct, and maintain the company's supply network; this will enable them to optimize operational efficiency and reduce the cost of designing, operating, and maintaining the company's electricity supply. As a component of CLP Power's corporate information infrastructure, G/Electric will extend the company's integration capabilities and maximize data usage, improving the company's overall service standard and competitive market presence.
