CLOSER SINGING BLUES DESPITE SEALING WIN JETHAWKS 9, R.C. 5.

Byline: Gideon Rubin Staff Writer

LANCASTER - Blame a reality television electorate and a bad throw for taking all the fun out of Jason Bulger's night.

Bulger got the disappointing news that fellow Snellville, Geo., resident Diana DeGarmo Diana Nicole DeGarmo (born June 16, 1987 in Birmingham, Alabama) is an American singer and Broadway actress. She was the second place finalist to winner Fantasia Barrino on the third season of the reality/talent-search television series American Idol , an ``American Idol American Idol is an annual American televised singing competition, which began its first season on June 11, 2002. Bulger, who pitched a scoreless ninth, said he wasn't too worried about the lost save chance and was happy to contribute in the victory, which helped teh JetHawks (25-20) close to wining 1 1/2 games of first-place Inland Empire (27-19), a 5-3 loser to second-place Lake Elsinore (26-19).

Although a bit disappointed about the ``American Idol'' voting, Bulger sees good things ahead for Snellville's hometown hero.
