Actor-director George Clooney George Timothy Clooney (May 6, 1961) is an American actor, director, producer and screenwriter who gained fame as the lead doctor in the long-running television drama, ER  was the center of attention Friday night as the latest recipient of the American Cinematheque Award The American Cinematheque Award annually honors "an extraordinary artist in the entertainment industry who is fully engaged in his or her work and is committed to making a significant contribution to the art of the motion pictures". .

As dinner was being served, Clooney greeted a steady stream of well- wishers, from former ``ER'' colleague Noah Wyle and fellow Oscar winner (and ``Intolerable Cruelty'' co-star) Geoffrey Rush Geoffrey Roy Rush (born 6 July 1951) is an Academy Award- and Emmy Award-winning Australian actor. He is the first Australian-born person to win an Academy Award for acting. , to film buffs whom he obliged with a posed photo or autograph.

Lindsay Lohan Lindsay Dee Lohan (born July 2 1986) is an American actress and pop music singer. Lohan started in show business as a child fashion model for magazine advertisement and television commercials.  took a break from her hectic schedule of clubbing to make an appearance. Hugh Hefner Hugh Marston Hefner (born April 9, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois), also referred to colloquially as Hef,[1] is the founder, editor-in-chief, and Chief Creative Officer of Playboy Enterprises[2]. He is the majority owner of Playboy Enterprise Inc.  scored a prominent table in the grand ballroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel, surrounded by 11 very young women and another equally fortunate older gentleman. There was no room on the table for a game of dominoes.

The music playing before the tribute program included a few hits by Clooney's late aunt, legendary singer Rosemary Clooney. Julia Roberts, George's ``Ocean's Eleven'' co-star, was set to present the honor, which last year went to Al Pacino.
