CLIPPERS VS. PHILADELPHIA.

Byline: Scott Wolf

Tipoff: 7:30 p.m., Sports Arena.

TV/Radio: Channel 9; KEZY-FM (95.9), K-LITE-FM (92.7).

Clippers (11-44) update: Although the Clippers have lost seven in a row and 15 of their past 16, there appears to be some life with the arrival of Isaac Austin. The Clippers nearly defeated Seattle 101-100 Monday and should be able to end their losing streak tonight. Austin has averaged 16.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in his first two games. Rookie Charles Smith has yet to see action.

Philadelphia (18-35) update: The struggling Sixers feature point guard Allen Iverson, rookie Tim Thomas and newly acquired forward Joe Smith, picked up from Golden State last week. It's debatable how long this core group will stay together, however, with Smith a free agent after the season. The Sixers are also rumored to be interested in trading Iverson. He's leading the Sixers in scoring (20.4 points), assists (6.7), steals (2.3) and minutes (38.5).
