center Reggie Evans Reginald (Reggie) Jamaal Evans (born May 18 1980, in Pensacola, Florida) is an American professional basketball player currently with the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers.

He was undrafted in 2002 despite an impressive career at the University of Iowa.
$10,000 before Monday night's game for his inappropriate action to Chris Kaman in Game 4 and caused a ripple of astonishment throughout the Clippers locker room.

In Game 4, Evans grabbed the private parts private parts n. men or women's genitalia, excluding a woman's breasts, usually referred to in prosecutions for "indecent exposure" or production and/or sale of pornography.  and induced the Clippers center to violently push him and be whistled for a technical foul. Kaman was shocked by the incident and after it, said a suspension and fine would be an appropriate punishment.

He was also surprised by the league's ruling. What the league basically said was that it was an unprecedented event, so they weren't sure how to handle it,'' Kaman said. ``I think that's kind of b.s. A guy throws his mouthpiece, and he's suspended for one game. Then, this guy does this, and it's a $10,000 fine. It's not for me to decide, but it's just frustrating.''

With the mouthpiece incident, Kaman was referring to Miami's Udonis Haslem, who was suspended for one game for throwing his mouthpiece in the direction of an official during the Heat's series with the Chicago Bulls. Apparently with the Evans incident, the NBA's senior vice president of basketball operations Stu Jackson could not determine the severity of Evans' action from video evidence. Video evidence, however, appeared to specifically show Evans grabbing Kaman's private parts.
