Derek Lamont Anderson (born July 18, 1974 in Louisville, Kentucky) is an American professional basketball player for the Charlotte Bobcats.
 scored 19 points and the Clippers set a franchise record with 19 blocked shots in a 91-81 win over the visiting Philadelphia 76ers on Friday for their first victory of the season.

The victory was their sixth straight at home against the 76ers, who shot only 34 percent from the field and were led by Allen Iverson's 21 points.

Troy Hudson, who started at guard ahead of Tyrone Nesby, helped fueled the Clippers' rally with eight points. Near the end of the run, Anderson ripped the ball away from reserve center Todd McCulloch and fed Brian Skinner for a slam dunk that electrified the Staples Center crowd of 14,271.
