After the first quarter, the Clippers led the entire way.

The Clippers jumped out to a 34-28 lead at the end of the first quarter, the 34 points being their highest-scoring first quarter of the season. Maggette scored 13 points in the quarter, although he was held scoreless in the second quarter.

The Clippers took their biggest first-half lead, 43-30, with 9:20 left in the second quarter and finished the half leading 60-53 even though Allen scored 15 points and had four assists before halftime.

Clippers reserves Eric Piatkowski and Melvin Ely scored 11 and 10 points, respectively, in the second quarter.

L.A. shot 55.6 percent from the field in the first half.

The Clippers led 80-77 heading into the fourth quarter.

Milwaukee made it 93-91 with 5:46 left when Tim Thomas made a 3-point shot. The Clippers responded with a 6-0 run to take that 99-91 lead with 4:32 to play.

The Bucks clawed their way back but never again took the lead.
