Miles attended East St. Louis High School, and, after failing to receive a qualifying SAT score to attend St.
skipped down the court waving his arms in the air. Gentry waited before leaving the court to congratulate him.

In the process of a nine minute, 11-second span, the Clippers crumbled, rebuilt themselves and somehow beat the Milwaukee Bucks The Milwaukee Bucks are a professional basketball team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They play in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The current franchise owner is U.S. Senator Herb Kohl.  113-110 in overtime Friday with Lamar Odom Lamar Joseph Odom (born November 6 1979, in South Jamaica, Queens, New York) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays power forward (also plays both forward spots and is a "point-forward") for the National Basketball Association's Los Angeles Lakers.  and Jeff McInnis Jeff Lemans McInnis (born October 22 1974 in Charlotte, North Carolina) is an American NBA basketball player, currently playing point guard for the Charlotte Bobcats.  watching from the locker room.

It appeared the Clippers had snapped with 4:11 left. Odom lost it and was ejected. Then the referees booted McInnis.

And in an instant a winnable game against the top team in the Central Division, the Milwaukee Bucks, was going south. But the Clippers erased a six-point deficit in the last 46 seconds to force overtime.

Miles led the Clippers with 26 points and Keyon Dooling Keyon Latwae Dooling (born May 8, 1980 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Orlando Magic of the NBA.  who hit repeated big shots and finished with 13 points and 5 assists.

The Clippers stayed close in overtime with Dooling and Piatkowski making back to back 3-pointers. Sean Rooks Sean Lester Rooks (born September 9 1969 in New York City) is a retired American basketball player at the center position in the National Basketball Association. He attended the University of Arizona and was drafted in the second round of the 1992 NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks.  gave the Clippers a 11-110 lead with two free throws with 36 seconds. Then Piatkowski made a leaning bank shot to put the Clippers ahead 113-110.

Glenn Robinson's desperation 3-pointer was short.

The game appeared over when Robinson made a 3-pointer from the wing with 43.9 second left and both Odom and McInnis out of the game. Then Dooling took over. He made a 3-pointer from the top of the key and then stripped Sam Cassell Samuel (Sam) James Cassell (born November 18, 1969 in Baltimore, Maryland) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays point guard for the NBA's Los Angeles Clippers.  to give the Clippers the ball with 26.9 second left.

Piatkowski made a 3-pointer from the corner to tie the game with 20.8 seconds left.

The Bucks had a chance to win the game in the final seconds but Robinson's shot over Miles was long and the Clippers went to overtime for the 12th time this season.

But they did it without their two leaders, Odom and McInnis.

With the Clippers leading 86-85 Odom drove down the lane. The Bucks Lindsey Hunter reached in and the referees called a jump ball. Odom was irate at the call, pounded his chest and then went toward referee Ron Olesiak who called a technical.

Sam Cassell missed the technical free throw and the Clippers won the jump ball but turned the ball over.

Odom then bumped Cassell at midcourt as he brought the ball up and was called for a foul. Cassell kept driving and Odom bumped him again and Cassell fell to the floor.

Ronnie Nunn called a second technical on Odom for the bump. Odom had to be restrained by his teammates.

Meanwhile McInnis went over to Cassell and the two appeared to be talking amicably. Then Olesiak gave McInnis a technical. Moments later, Olesiak ejected McInnis, which caused Odom to rush toward Olesiak. The Clippers called time out and brought Odom back to the bench.

By the time all the free throws were shot, the Clippers trailed 89-86 with 4:11 left.

Miles had 14 points in the first half as the Clippers outscored the Bucks 57-48.

Not only did Miles score but he had two blocked shots and proved to be an intimidating force inside.

The Clippers also helped themselves in the first half outrebounding Milwaukee 29-15, including a 10-2 advantage on the offensive boards. Michael Olowokandi had 6 offensive rebounds in the first half.
