CLIPPERS AT MINNESOTA.

Byline: -- Joe Stevens

Tipoff: 5 p.m., Target Center

TV/Radio: FSN Prime Ticket; 710-AM

Clippers (16-19) update: The Clippers are concluding their six-game trip, after going 2-3 in the first five games. They defeated the New Orleans Hornets 100-90 on Monday, when Sam Cassell returned to the lineup after a three-week absence and scored 31 points. With the win, the Clippers improved to 4-13 on the road. Last season, they finished 20-21 on the road, so they will have to go 16-8 to tie that record.

Minnesota (17-15) update: The Timberwolves have won four in a row, most recently a 104-102 victory over Philadelphia in overtime. Kevin Garnett made a 15-foot jump shot at the final buzzer. Former Clipper Marko Jaric is getting spotty playing time, averaging 22 minutes and 5.9 points.
