CLINTON TAKES A BREAK BEFORE PACIFIC MISSION.Byline: The Boston Globe President Clinton plans to embark Monday on a 10-day trip along the Pacific Rim Pacific Rim, term used to describe the nations bordering the Pacific Ocean and the island countries situated in it. He arrived in Honolulu on Friday night for a weekend of relaxation with his wife in a secluded guest house on a local Army base. After publicly stating he yearned for some time off and golf, he encountered cloudy skies, water-soaked golf courses and headlines in the local papers about record, intermittent rainfalls that could continue into early next week.
