CLI announces Markey's AudioVisual Inc. as new co-marketer of videoconferencing.

Although the first videoconferencing was done with traditional analog TV and satellites, inhouse room systems became popular in the early 1980s after Compression Labs pioneered digitized video systems  systems by customizing them for hotels and boardrooms and by providing public rooms with videoconferencing.

Markey's will offer videoconferencing, an increasingly popular way to hold meetings and conduct training at multiple locations at the same time, as part of its audio/visual equipment and services. Using CLI's videoconferencing systems, groups at different locations can meet, conduct classes, show graphics, and hold interviews. They control these meetings with an easy-to-use remote control unit or touch screen interface.

Universities, schools, manufacturers, and all types of organizations increase their reach to many locations, increase the speed with which they make decisions, increase the speed of completion of projects, and decrease their travel budgets -- all through videoconferencing.

Markey's AudioVisual communication experts design systems for corporate board rooms that assist in presenting ideas, views and recommendations more effectively. Systems are available on a purchase or rental basis. Markey's is a participant in CLI's new STAR (Selling Together Achieves Results) program focused on providing new distribution channels for videoconferencing products. Members of the STAR program co-market CLI systems in specific markets with their own products or services. By combining their products with CLI videoconferencing products, they enhance the products or services they already sell.
